According to the no-last-name writer "Adam" and "a source," Miranda Lambert has told her husband Blake Shelton to "keep away" from Cassadee Pope. I'm sorry, but I'm calling bullshit on this entire article -- the wording, the lack of any real detail, and it just being stupid. Dear everyone! I need to make sure you all know about this price confusion on iTunes BEFORE you decide to buy the EP on May 22nd. I'm distributing my EP through Tunecore, which has been extremely helpful. The only problem I have run into is the price of it. I uploaded a digital booklet with lyrics, track listing, credits, etc. Tunecore has an automatic price jump when you upload a digital booklet. They raise it to $9.99. Of course, that's way too high for a 4 song EP. Unfortunately, I have to wait a few days AFTER my EP goes live in iTunes until Tunecore can lower the price to $5.99. So if you can, please wait...

I've finished vocals, and had Rian Dawson (All Time Low) record drums! Needless to say, it has been an extremely productive few days. On day 2 of vocals, I finished harmonies for "I Guess We're Cool" and completely finished "Told You So." I believe that every musician has one song that stands out to them. There's one song in particular that they are incredibly proud of. Vocally, I've never been as challenged as I was with the ballad, "Told You So."

Rian Dawson (All Time Low) will be playing drums on Cassadee Pope's new EP.

Travis Clark of We The Kings has posted his "Albums That Changed My Life," and Cassadee Pope's second studio blog is now up.

Cassadee Pope is currently in the studio recording her debut EP and has confirmed that she is doing it on her own without a label or management.

Got a quick update from Ryan Key from Yellowcard about the guest-vocals on the new album. Basically, the guest vocals are part of a huge group four-part harmony in the bridge of a new song. It includes Ryan, Alex from All Time Low, Cassadee Pope, and Tay from We Are The In Crowd. It's a four part harmony in the bridge, not lead vocals. Having spent some time with the band throughout the years, I feel relatively confident in saying this is the most excited I've ever heard them about a new batch of songs.

I have seen negativity, but I did expect a lot more. I’m not including AbsolutePunk or stuff like that, obviously they’re going to be negative no matter what. I’m just talking about our fans though. They’ve been really great and supportive. I’m sure they’re upset about some things. I read that interview where I said that, and I knew people were going to take what I said and run with it. What I meant was, with Hey Monday I did a lot of co-writes. They’re something that I like to do.
