Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley, frontmen of Drive-By Truckers, will be joined on-stage by ex-Trucker Jason Isbell for a one-time-only concert in Florence, Alabama on June 15. The show will help pay medical expenses for Terry Price, a Muscle Shoals teacher, author and music historian. Isbell left DBT for a successful solo career after playing a crucial role on fan-favorite albums The Dirty South and Decoration Day.

Animal Style Records owner Matt Medina got married last month and made a 7" consisting of four cover songs to commemorate the occasion. Now, that 7" is available on Bandcamp for $4, and all proceeds will go to FreedomToMarry.org.
We got married on January 19, 2014, and with the help of our friends in Mixtapes, Born Without Bones, We Are the Union and Wolves at Bay, we released a 7" to commemorate the occasion. We feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to celebrate our marriage with our family and friends, but we recognize that not everyone in our country is so fortunate. Fun. are launching a campaign to raise $250,000 to fund a community health center primarily for at-risk LGBT youth in Detroit. The campaign will be run by The Ally Coalition, an organization co-founded by the band and guitarist Jack Antonoff's sister Rachel.

Dropkick Murphys have once again collaborated with Bruce Springsteen. This time around the band will be releasing a new version of their single "Rose Tattoo" with contributions from Springsteen, and proceeds will benefit victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. The Boss was previously featured on "Peg O' My Heart" from the 2011 album Going Out in Style.

Michael Kennedy, drummer for The Wonder Years, is doing his first-ever 5K run for charity in Montgomery County, PA. "The Exercise Doesn't Suck 5K" will take place on June 2, and participation in the event is limited to only 30 people. Send an email if you're interested in participating. Kennedy said in a detailed statement, which you can read fully in the replies, that this is a test-run for hopefully bigger charity events in the future.

Kevin Lyman's Unite the United Foundation is auctioning off items to benefit the Kenadee Lucker Educational Fund.
MessageWe are all in shock about the sudden and tragic death of Mitch Lucker of Suicide Silence. Although the world and our lives will move on, he leaves behind a beautiful daughter, Kenadee, who will need the support that he promised her, and sadly will not be able to fulfill.

With that said, we feel his music family from the Vans Warped Tour and Rockstar Mayhem Festival can step up to help in the best way we can and that is to dedicate our winter charity auction proceeds to a trust fund for her future education and care.
