Jeff Says

It was definitely a big part of my life but it's also a part of my life I'd like to forget. When I was playing in Cute I was not happy. It wasn't who I was. I was surrounded by negative energy 24/7 and after a while it takes a toll on you physically and emotionally. I love playing music but when it turns into a corporation where corporate greed runs your life you can count me out :)

From the Interview

At the beginning of July Mikey, Jeff, some family friends, and I sat down with Shaant. We told him the things he needed to change as far as attitude and demeanor goes. I want to make it known that I shut him out of my life after that. He needed to be on his own if he was going to do anything positive for himself. There was not a visible change in his attitude or work ethic when I got back to Buffalo, so I decided to live my own life.

I don’t mean to say this to be cocky but rappers have it right. Like whenever someone is talking shit on us and we let it affect us, just for our age and stuff, all we have to do is look at our bank accounts, you know what I mean? And then it’s like, OK this is obviously working and people like it. I don’t know how we deal with it, now we just find entertainment from it.
