Coheed and Cambria has recruited Taylor Hawkins of The Foo Fighters to play drums on their new album; former drummer Josh Eppard parted ways with the band late last year. The band is currently recording No World For Tomorrow with producer Nick Raskulinecz; the album is expected to be released this Fall.
You can download Coheed and Cambria performing a new song, tentatively titled "Mother Superior," here. This recording includes guitarist Travis Stever as opposed to the solo Claudio performance of the song that was posted a few months back.
Coheed and Cambria are set to begin work on their 4th studio album, (their 2nd for Columbia Records) with producer Nick Rasculinecz (Foo Fighters, Rush, Stone Sour), this week in Los Angeles. Bassist Michael Todd, who left the band last August due to “personal reasons,” has returned just in time to join the band in the studio.
The album, which is tentatively titled No World for Tomorrow, is set to be released this Fall, and is said to be the last chapter in the ongoing saga of Coheed and Cambria Kilgannon, the main characters in a story that wraps all the bands “concept albums” into one.

Despite rumors, Coheed and Cambria have not broken up. However, the band has been forced to cancel their European tour due to an illness and some personal matters. A statement from the band is below:
Coheed and Cambria will be shooting a video for "Ten Speed (Of God's Blood And Burial)" in LA this Saturday and are looking for fans to play a role in the video.
Coheed and Cambria has posted an acoustic version of "A Favor House Atlantic" on their MySpace page. The track is taken from their XFM sessions, recently recorded during the band's last trip to the UK. This track, along with 3 others, will soon be available on iTunes.
Coheed and Cambria recently shot a DIY video for "The Willing Well IV: The Final Cut." Unfortunately, there are no plans for it to be released. More details below.
Eighteen Visions will be the openers for half of the upcoming Coheed and Cambria / Avenged Sevenfold tour, and as reported earlier, Head Automatica will be the openers for the other half. More specifics coming soon.
