The White Stripes have announced the cancellation of their North American headlining tour, on which the duo were to feature support from Cold War Kids. The group has cited drummer Meg White's acute anxiety as the reason for the cancellation.

Cold War Kids' new music video for "Hospital Beds" will be premiering on MTVu on Monday, July 23rd.

KCRW's A Sounds Eclectic Evening 6 will be on April 14th and bands include The Shins, Lily Allen, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Cold War Kids and Bitter:Sweet. It'll be at the Gibson Ampitheatre in Los Angeles and there are plenty of other artists (including a special guest) to be announced later. Dustin Kensrue (Thrice), Anchor and Braille (Stephen Christian of Anberlin), and Nathan Willet of Cold War Kids are playing a show this Thursday 1/25 at the Knitting Factory in NYC. Details in the replies.

Cold War Kids have announced the rest of their dates on their spring tour (the dates starting in March will be with Tokyo Police Club). The band is also finishing up their new video for "Hang Me Up To Dry," directed by The Malloy Brothers (White Stripes, Foo Fighters, Wolfmother) and was shot on black and white reversal film to give it an "old movie" feel.
