Columbia Records' A&R department is looking for an intern (in Beverly Hills) for the upcoming Spring semester. The internship will be focused on music research, and requires a working knowledge of the current music climate as well as online research skills. This will be a hands on internship working with and assisting the A&R staff. Interns must be able to work at least one, preferably two days a week from 10-6. This internship is not salaried and you must be able to receive credit. If interested, please email your resume here.

Cults has signed to Columbia Records. They're currently working on their debut album, which is tentatively scheduled for a spring 2011 release.

Columbia Records' west coast office is looking for interns for their A&R department. Boys Like Girls recently shot a new music video for "Hero/Heroine" with director Alan Fergusion in Boston, Massachusetts, which is expected to surface shortly. Coheed and Cambria have launched a new Facebook application allowing fans to broadcast videos of the group directly from their profiles. The quartet are currently preparing for the release of their latest effort, No World for Tomorrow, which will see release on October 23rd via Columbia Records.

The Automatic Automatic have parted ways with bassist Alex Pennie. The group, who are currently supporting their latest release, Not Accepted Anywhere, which is available now courtesy of Columbia Records, have cited a change in interests as reason for the departure.
