A few years ago Poseur Ink decided that comic books and music were ideal bedfellows. Their second music-focused graphic novel, Side B: The Music Lover's Comic Anthology, is 232 pages of music adoration. Try not to get confused here, but the next installment in Coheed and Cambria's "The Amory Wars" comic book series, which will cover the events of In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3, is speculated to take off on May 26th. The cover of issue #1 and various other comic release details can be found in the replies.

The first five issues of Claudio Sanchez's (Coheed and Cambria) comic book mini-series The Amory Wars are set to be released as a paperback graphic novel. Sanchez will debut the book at the New York Comic-Con in April. Head to the replies for the full press release.

The 2008 Taste of Chaos tour kicks off today and to celebrate, AbsolutePunk has an exclusive comic book inspired by the lyrics to "Last To Know" from Bullet For My Valentine's new album Scream Aim Fire, found in the replies. Much to the chagrin of comic fans, Spider-Man's history with his wife of more than twenty years Mary Jane has been erased from memory to keep the character "fresh."
From the Article"We knew it would be a very controversial thing to do," says Joe Quesada, Marvel's editor in chief, who believed so much in the project that he drew the crucial issues himself. "Looking into the future, this is really the right thing to do for the long-term health of the character."

Quesada is steadfast that for Spider-Man, the move is the right one: "Ultimately we have to do this to keep this character fresh for this generation and generations to come."

Gerard Way, lead singer of My Chemical Romance and comic enthusiast, has written a six-issue comic series for Dark Horse Comics titled The Umbrella Academy. Issue one is on store shelves today, and be sure to read a review before picking it up.

My Chemical Romance vocalist Gerard Way's forthcoming comic book, Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite #1, is now available for pre-order courtesy of Things from Another World. The comic book is scheduled for release this Wednesday, September 19th via Dark Horse Comics.

My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way has announced plans to release a six-issue comic book series. The band is currently recording their follow-up to Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge in California with producer Rob Cavallo.
