A ton of AP-supported artists have been nominated in various categories of the 2007 Boston Music Awards, including Boys Like Girls, Converge, Josh Ritter, Big D & the Kids Table, and Medicated Kisses. Converge will be releasing a DVD entitled Thousands Of Miles Between Us in the future. More on this can be found at the bands website.

Animosity has been keeping a tour journal right here. The bands new album Animal, which was produced by Converge's Kurt Ballou, will see a release later this year.

Animosity will be recording their new full length with Kurt Ballou of Converge. Expect the effort out in the summer via Black Market Activities.

In June, Converge, Animosity and Rise and Fall will make their way overseas for a slew of European dates.

You can now pre-order Converge's new full length, No Heroes, right here. The pre-orders come with a silk screened posted designed by Jacob Bannon. Expect the bands tour dates with Some Girls and Modern Life Is War to be surfacing in the coming weeks.

Converge are planning to film a video in the LA area in the coming weeks with director Ryan Zunkley. You can expect material from the bands new album, No Heroes (out October 24th), around the beginning of next month.

Converge's July 12th Syracuse off date from Sounds of the Underground has been moved to Pittsburgh, PA. The venue is the Lawrenceville Moose. Information can be found at www.bridgeportent.com

Converge had a ton of guest contributions on their new yet-to-be titled effort, and the recording process is well underway. Check below for details.

Converge Studio Update

Recording is going well so far. Percussion and bass have been recorded in their entirety. Some vocals are also completed with more to follow throughout the week. Guitar tracking is also underway. We hope to begin mixing in the next week or so. We've had some guests perform on the album so far: JR Conners (ex-Cave In, now of Doomriders) and Alex Garcia-Rivera (Bloodhorse, ex-454 Big Block, ex-Give Up The Ghost) added a bit of percussion during a recent session. The following is from Lambgoat.com: Yesterday, Converge began tracking their next album for Epitaph Records.The group, with the guidance of guitarist Kurt Ballou, is engineering and producing the effort themselves. According to the band, "No need to bring anyone else in, not when we have the ability to collectively create the album we artistically envision." The album will consist of roughly thirteen songs, of which the band states, "These songs are a freight train, to us sounding larger and harder than any of our previous efforts."

Converge will "most likely" track their new album during the months of May and June.

Converge will begin recording their follow up to You Fail Me next month. A Fall release is expected.

Converge is currently writing their new album to be released on Epitaph in 2006.
