Sooooooooooo ... quick announcement to say that the Copeland AMA is being pushed to Wednesday, April 23rd at 8pm EST. Sorry for the confusion or any inconvenience.
Jason Tate on 04/21/14 - 01:37 PM
That's right, Copeland will be doing an AMA on the site this Tuesday at 8pm EST. This is the first time the band's openly talking about getting back together, the new album and everything else that is Copeland. The last time the band did one was over five years ago, so be sure to make it around this time, who knows when the next one will be. Don't forget to pre-order the band's new album, Ixora, to have extra special treatment as well (this is a joke). To celebrate, post your favorite Copeland songs in the replies and let's rejoice!

Update: This has been postponed one day -- and will occur on Wednesday now.

Copeland's new song "Ordinary" can be downloaded on Bandcamp.
Jason Tate on 04/02/14 - 05:44 PM
Copeland is back. This is not an April Fool's Day joke; this is not a drill. The band's sixth album, Ixora, will be recorded soon and come out on October 31, 2014; pre-orders are here (top-right). There's a video for a song called "Ordinary" in the replies.
Below you’ll find various bundles with music, apparel, and collectibles. ALL of the physical items in the pre-order will be limited-run items (including “SPECIAL EDITION” and “DELUXE IXORA TWIN" CDs). That means when the pre-orders have sold out, they won’t be offered again.

For the first time in our career, we are making a record as an independent band. These pre-orders are essentially funding the project. The encouraging messages and...

Aaron Marsh would make another Copeland record if things came together the right way.
from the interview"I don’t want to make something that is either not as good as that record or something that takes a strange turn. If You Are My Sunshine winds up being our swan song, I’ll be satisfied. So I guess I’m saying I would make another record if I had the right songs and the support of the whole band."

Head to the replies to see Aaron Marsh performing a soulful rendition of "The Day I Lost My Voice (The Suitcase Song)" for our Backstage Sessions.
