Here is today's hint. The contest ends if no one gets it by the start of the next contest.

The number of seconds it takes to receive him live added to the number of seconds in the second track by Jason Tate's top album of 2003 is? You only get one guess, so make it count.

Good luck.

Here is today's daily contest hint:

For the longest time, I wanted to play that guitar-keyboard thing, but I knew that I needed the right look for it to bring out the best in me. I don’t have any of the things an AP member said was essential. Tay let me borrow one of the things but it was about six and a half months too late. I still appreciate it though. The other thing is just absurd, what is this…1992? I give up!

What things do I need to effectively rock with this instrument and who said it? The first person to respond in this thread with the correct answer wins.
Anton Djamoos on 10/10/07 - 09:12 PM

You may have noticed that there was no contest yesterday. That's because today's contest will have one or three winners.

To win this contest, you must upload the most different 100x100 album avatars to the AP Gallery. YOU MUST UPLOAD THEM HERE for them to count. The three people that upload the most icons win. However, if one person uploads ten more than the person in second place, they win three prizes. Also, you have until 9:00 p.m. EST on Monday, October 8 to submit as many as you can. I will announce the winner tomorrow night. Remember, the icons have to be of albums. Look in the replies for an example.

Oh, look...it is he.
Find me the chorus, use your

Additional Hint: All of the answers so far have been found on AP.net. This one is no different. The way the clue was written was intentional...think about it.

The winner is the first person that provides me with the answer I am looking for by posting it in this thread. Good luck!
Anton Djamoos on 10/04/07 - 09:05 PM
Here is today’s daily contest hint:

George Howard wrote somewhere that there is a base number of fans a band should strive to get in their home town before advancing to other towns. Add this number to the number of posts there were in a flabbergast-worthy thread. Whoever has that post number in this thread wins.

For example, if Howard said ten fans, and there are thirty posts in the flabbergast-worthy thread I’m referring to, whoever posts 40th in this thread wins.

To add an element of randomness to this contest, the winner does not necessarily have to do any research to win...they can somehow stumble upon posting the correct post. Good luck all.

The winner with the best image will not only get their choice of one of the prizes remaining in the replies, but also a secret bonus. You may submit multiple images, but the winner will be chosen at 8:00 p.m. EST so make sure you have submitted by then.
