So I did the tour, and by the end Will and Matt were like, “We don't want to write another record with Kurt, because he smokes two packs of cigarettes a day, and he’s claiming he's gonna sing even higher on the next album, and his range is already nothing right now. So we're just gonna break up the band at the end of this tour, because there's nowhere left to go.” Then they basically came up with the idea that they could just break up the band whenever, but do this record first and see what happens....

Dance Gavin Dance will be performing Downtown Battle Mountain and Downtown Battle Mountain II on the European leg of their upcoming tour. They will alternate albums each night. This will not be happening on the U.S. leg of the tour though.
