Jason Call (ex-Daphne Loves Derby) recently released a new song on his Peru blog, featuring Paul Benson of This Providence, members of Push Push Pull, and many other musicians around the world. The song started in Peru, but then was sent to different places all around the world. Jason sent rough tracks to friends on buddy lists, and then received the collaborated tracks and mixed them into the final song. All was accomplished without ever having a spoken conversation or actually seeing each other in person.

Check out my interview with Kenny Choi (Daphne Loves Derby, Wolftron) right here.
From the interviewTo be honest, I know I did not rise to the occasion at times with Daphne. Maybe I always tried too hard... with Flesh & Fears, I was in my element. I got to work on the songs in the very room I wrote them. No need to show it to anyone... no distractions. I think that was the only difference. There was no master plan to try and draw new people in.

Spencer Abbott has left Daphne Loves Derby to pursue other endeavors.
Message from SpencerNot really sure how to start this, but after countless hours of thinking, praying, and really weighing out my life, I (Spencer) have decided to step away from Daphne.

It is a decision I didnít take lightly and I feel I have avoided for quite some time. I feel as if I have some personal issues in my life to work out, ones much too complicated to write in a simple blog, that simply wonít get sorted out while touring and being on the road as often as the guys are.

While in the band, I really poured my heart and soul into it, and itís going to be hard to leave. At the end of the day, itís just...
