The Almost (feat. Aaron Gillespie of Underoath) has posted its first new song, "Southern Weather," on Purevolume.com. The band's debut album, Southern Weather, is slated for release in early April.
Last Martyrs of a Lost Cause have announced further details surrounding their debut EP, Don't Shoot the Messenger. The album, which is scheduled to see an early-December release, will be available free-of-charge via both live performances and online downloads. Fall Out Boy will be debuting the first single from their new, as-yet-untitled album live on November 21st at the American Music Awards. The track is entitled "It Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race," and will ship to radio that night with an impact date set for December 5th. The follow-up to 2005's From Under The Cork Tree will hit stores on February 6th, 2007.
According to NME, the Catch-It Kebabs will be rereleasing their debut, full-length effort, Skankin' Sausages, on their newly-instated, personal record label, Feet First Records.
Xavier Rudd will release his Anti Records debut Food In The Belly on January 23, 2007. According to the press release, "Rudd is on a plateau of his own, playing a one-man blend of guitars, didgeridoos, stomp boxes, djembe drums, and even slide banjo." Xavier will be touring in October and December in anticipation of the album.
Four Letter Lie will be posting a new track entitled "Feel Like Fame." The track comes from their debut Victory Records release, Let Your Body Take Over. Look for the track to hit Myspace tonight at 12:00 AM Central Time.
U2 and Green Day will debut their collaborative cover of Scottish punk band The Skids' "The Saints Are Coming" during a live performance on Sept. 25 at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans. David Bazan's (Pedro the Lion) debut solo EP Fewer Moving Parts will be released June 13, 2006.
