Bamboozle Left will be auctioning off an appearance on the festival's main stage. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the One Love for Chi foundation to aid in the ongoing medical care of Deftones bass player, Chi Cheng.

Keep Deftones bassist Chi Cheng in your thoughts. The 38 year-old is in a coma in a San Jose hospital following a car accident on Tuesday. The band's myspace blog reports Cheng is in "serious but stable condition."
At a recent show in Philadelphia, Sound the Alarm covered covered "Engine No. 9" by the Deftones and Nate from Finch came up and sang it with them. A video can be seen on their myspace or in the replies.

Deftones have posted a new song, titled "Rapture," on their Myspace page. The track is off the upcoming album, Saturday Night Wrist, which hits streets on Halloween.

The Deftones recently shot a video for their new single "Hole In The Earth" in New York with director Brian Lazzaro (Coheed And Cambria, Mest). The band expect the video to be available for viewing in around two weeks time.In the mean time, an eCard for the group's new album "Saturday Night Wrist" is available online here.
Billboard has posted an article about Deftones upcoming 5th album, Saturday Night Wrist, which will release on October 31st. The article tells of a few special appearances on the album and also includes the album's tracklisting.
Chino (Deftones / Team Sleep) has been seeing rumors posted on websites about bands they're supposedly taking on tour in 2006. One band he wanted to mention is The Warriors, and that Deftones will be taking them out sometime in Spring or Summer 2006. On another note, Todd WIlkinson of Team Sleep is at work in the studio on some solo material, and has also begun tracking new material for the next Team Sleep record. There is also talks of a collaboration with members of Dillinger Escape Plan; Todd and Chino have been exchanging music with Ben and Greg.
