Say Anything will release Is a Real Boy, and the follow-up EP, Was a Real Boy, this October on limited edition colored vinyl courtesy of Doghouse Records. Furthermore, the release will include a previously unreleased track entitled "Walk Through Hell."

Paulson have been selected by mtvU as one of their Fall semester's Freshman Five. According to mtvU, "the Freshman Five are artists we'd like to become a core part of mtvU's programming." Therefore, the group's music video for "Calling on You" will be added into regular rotation for the network's Fall season beginning September 24th. Furthermore, the group have scheduled a live performance for Tuesday, September 11th at the Mercury Lounge in New York City, which will be filmed by the network for an upcoming television special.
Say Anything have been mysteriously removed from the Rockstar Energy Drink-sponsored Get a Life Tour, on which the band were previously scheduled to perform alongside The Used, Army of Me, and Street Drum Corps. No explanatory statement has been issued to date.
