I've started a blog entitled "Four Chords & Seven Years Ago." While the name may seem cheesy, the intent is anything but that. What I hope to accomplish is to open your ears (and mine) to something that you may not have heard before in hopes that it will drive you to explore music. I'll be grabbing people within the industry to contribute weekly. Head to the replies to read the first installment, which is an introduction to the feature and I talk about Down To Earth Approach.
The Seams (made up of previous Down To Earth Approach bandmates, Jonathan Lullo and Dan Shepard) will release their new full-length - Spanish American - for free digitally March 9th, but we're just not that patient. Head to the band's AP.net Profile to get the new song scoop and enjoy "If You Don't Call". Discussion party in the replies.
The Seams (ex-Down To Earth Approach) have posted two new songs, "Everything You Do" and "Real Love" (feat. Stacy Clark), on myspace. Down To Earth Approach has made a webstore for leftover merch from their reunion show this past Saturday. Available is one limited edition shirt made specially for the reunion, and all their other shirts are on sale for $5.
It's been a year since Down To Earth Approach decided to call it a day. In memory of their valiant years as a band, they wanted us to have three ABSOLUTExclusive b-sides from their 2007 album, Come Back to You, which you can now download for free. Also to bring back the good times, the band has included a video of random tour moments and commentary from good friend and tour buddy, Aaron. See all of this at the band's AP.net Profile.
Jonathan Lullo of Down to Earth Approach has been updating his AP.net blog about the recording of his latest untitled solo EP. Follow it here. Feel free to add him as a friend so you get notified of all his latest blog updates.
In case you haven't noticed, Jonathan Lullo (ex-Down to Earth Approach) has been blessing us with a series of acoustic cover songs. This week, he takes a gander at Hot Rod Circuit's "Safely", which is available to download (along with the previous three) at his AP.net Profile. If you have a song request, leave it in the replies.
