Ed Rose is now the in-house engineer for the Lawrence, KS public library music studio.
Ed Rose has been helping bands record across the country since the 80′s, but you may recognize him as the Chief Engineer over at Black Lodge Recording in Eudora. Hes worked with a number of popular bands, including The Get Up Kids, Touche Amore, The Casket Lottery, The Capsules (pictured below with Rose), and more.

Ed Rose (producer of The Get Up Kids, Motion City Soundtrack, Reggie and The Full Effect, and many more) is quitting music production after the 2013 calendar year, and putting Black Lodge Recordings up for sale.
It's been a great ride but 2013 will be my last year for making records. I'm incredibly thankful to all the musicians that have allowed me to be part of their recordings and will fondly look back at all the great music and friends I've made along the way. The Casket Lottery will enter the studio to start recording a new record with Ed Rose at Black Lodge this weekend.

Touche Amore have enlisted Ed Rose (The Appleseed Cast, The Get Up Kids) to produce their new album, Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me. They band heads into the studio in February and the record will be released later this year on Deathwish Inc.
