Here is a review of Underoath's Winter tour stop in Austin on Tuesday with August Burns Red and Emery. After the show, I was able to talk with guitarist Tim McTague who says the band has just started writing songs that may be included in the next record, and they are hoping to be in the studio by late summer/fall to record.
Emery are doing two acoustic in-store performances in the coming weeks; you can find the details below. If you purchase their new album ...In Shallow Seas We Sail at either of the locations, you will receive a free poster.
In the replies are the questions and answers to week 1 of Ask A. Punk (read here for info). We have the guys from Emery and Keith from Every Time I Die answering questions this week. You can submit questions for upcoming band guests to email@example.com with subject line "Ask A. Punk".
EDIT: The chat is now over. Many thanks to Toby and Dave!
Emery will be chatting in this thread at approximately 10 p.m. EST. The band's new album, In Shallow Seas We Sail, was just released from the gates on June 2nd. You could ask questions about the new songs you love or just say what's up. Either way, come on in and chat away.

Emery strike again on June 2nd with their new record In Shallow Seas We Sail. For a taste of what's in store check out track 2 from the record (which is always the best track, right?) streaming on their AP.net Profile. The song's called "Curbside Goodbye", and it's an energetic return to form. You can pre-order the album here.
Emery are taking part in the '09 Zumiez Couch Tour, which will have them playing mall parking lots in several select cities. Also, check out their new song "Piggy Bank Lines" off the upcoming ...In Shallow Seas We Sail right here.
