The Receiving End of Sirens has posted some updates on their website regarding the demoing of new songs along with what's in store for the band in the new year.
According to a recent journal post by Dan of The Chariot, the band will enter the studio right after their current tour to track Porcelain. A release in the summer is now expected.
By Autumn's End are heading into the studio this weekend to begin working on their debut full-length for Hand of Hope Records. The CD is still untitled, but they will be recording with Jason Zubricky and aiming for a release date in March 2007.
I will be interviewing The Living End soon. Please leave your questions for the band and I will get them answered. Their debut release for Adeline/East West, titled State of Emergency, is in stores now (and I highly recommend you pick it up).

Hey guys and gals. I just returned from a great show with The Receiving End Of Sirens, As Tall As Lions, and A Thorn For Every Heart. If you get the chance to head to this show, take full advantage. If you haven't checked out As Tall As Lions yet, I'd recommend doing so now. The Receiving End Of Sirens are one of the best live shows I've ever seen and this tour is worth the money to go to. So check it out! Dates can be found here.
I had the opportunity to attend the "The New Hope Tour" the other night and was completely amazed when I saw Alex of The Receiving End Of Sirens, the singer/guitarist who recently fell down a staircase and was injured pretty badly, on stage, fully functioning and hitting every note. If you attend any of the shows on this tour be sure to give him a pat on the back (not literally, because he said his back was still in a lot pain).
