When influential bands call it quits, we can deal - as long as those musicians keep making music. Problem is, it's been three years since lowcountry - we've been ready for Envy On The Coast's members to return for some time now. Enter Heavy English, the answer. EOTC's vocalist/keyboardist/guitarist Sal Bossio and drummer Dan Gluszak have teamed with bassist Ari Sadowitz to bring the new jams - and we've got the first track. Head to the replies to hear "21 Flights," and grab the track on iTunes tomorrow.
Heavy English (Sal Bossio and Dan Gluszak of Envy On The Coast) will release their first single "21 Flights" on July 30 via iTunes - check out a teaser in the replies. We're exclusively premiering the song the day before.
Get with the Shoulder Gorilla, because NK (formerly North Korea) is on to something. Between the band's combined résumé (heard of Envy On The Coast or The Dillinger Escape Plan?) and their new home on Triple Crown Records, it's time to get familiar. We've got the first track from their upcoming full-length, Nothing To Be Gained Here - hit the replies to hear "Shoulder Gorilla" and pre-order the record (and some attractive vinyl offerings) here.
There is a petition that has been started to get Envy on The Coast to play their last show at Temple Beth AM, where their careers started. While the band has not commited to the show, the organizers believe that they won't be able to ignore it if it becomes overwhelming. Join the cause here and check out the press release in the replies.
