Here we are at the end of 2011. And that means it's time to unveil our "best of 2011" feature. The feature contains a staff compiled list of our favorite records of 2011, as well as all of our individual lists. Then, we have a whole batch of lists from bands, industry folk, and friends of the website for you to browse through. We're in the middle of tallying up all of our End of the Year lists from staff and band/industry friends -- and we will be launching our feature tomorrow. Who do you think is ending up as our staff compiled number one? It was a bitter battle to the end.

It's that time of year: End of the Year Lists. Calling all bands, labels, managers and publicists - send us a list of your bands' and your favorite albums of 2009, and we'll add it to our annual collection of industry and musicians best-ofs. You can shoot emails to julia.conny@absolutepunk.net. But for now, let us reminisce about 2008 and 2007.

The end of 2008 is upon us. We've compiled over 150 end of the year lists from staff, labels, bands, and other industry folk (there's a whole lot). We hope you'll check them out -- you may find something great you never knew existed. We've also compiled a staff list of all the staff favorites. Feel free to share your own lists here. Thank you for a great year - we love you.

We're finalizing our AP.net "end of the year" feature. We've put together over a hundred and fifty guest lists from bands, labels, and your favorite staff members.
