Mother/Father (Scatter The Ashes) will be having their first show on April 19th at The End in Nashville. The band has their Light Thieves demos online right now, and will soon hit the studio to record their debut for Epitaph.

Epitaph has signed Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio's side project, Heavens. Check out the band's first single, title track "Patent Pending", at Epitaph.com. The band's debut, Patent Pending, hits shelves on August 22nd.

The Matches have a new song entitled "Little Maggots" appearing on Epitaph's new compilation. The track was produced by John Feldmann. The compilation is entitled Unsound: Vol. 1 and it drops June 5th. The track is one of many to appear on the bands' forthcoming sophomore LP entitled Decomposer, which is slated for release on September 6th. Remember, the new album has songs produced by multiple big names, including Mark Hoppus, Nick Hexum and Tim Armstrong. The band also finalized and inked their official contract with Epitaph Records recently.
The Draft, which features Chris Wollard, Jason Black, and George Rebello of Hot Water Music (the band is currently on an "extended break"), has signed with Epitaph. The band will enter the studio on March 6th with Brian McTernan (Thrice, Cave In) to record their debut for the label.
From HitsDailyDouble: The heat continues for the Scott Bradford-repped/Tim Smith-managed From First to Last. The bandís current LP on Epitaph has sold over 100k. Their second record is already done but has not been released. As label heads go ga-ga over the group, the band is reportedly in discussions with their suitors to do a nontraditional record deal (think Korn/EMI). Yes, thereís a buyout to Epitaph involved for the bandís third album, but apparently itís a low-figure exitóthe band negotiated a reasonable exit clause when they signed with the indie. With a multiple revenue-sharing scenario being proposed, this is a potential win-win situation for the act and the signing label, but...
