Jack Antonoff has created a New Jersey music festival named Shadow of the City. He curated the lineup, which you can see in the replies, himself. Bleachers and Charli XCX will headline.
We're going to have a ton of fun stuff going on. The first year we're doing one stage, so there are no competing set times. All the artists will play back to back to back on the one stage. We're going to bring in all these local food trucks and carnival games. Weird NJ, which is one of the greatest magazines of all time, is going to have a presence. My sister [Rachel Antonoff] is a designer, and she's going to have a presence. We'll have records for sale. It's going to be like a little flea...

Austin's FunFunFunFest announced the schedules for both the day and night time festivals. This festival is unique in that a wristband provides you entry to the daily festival, as well as shows at venues across the city each night for no additional cost.

FFF Nites features shows with Into It Over It, The Jazz June, Knapsack, Mineral, The Hotelier, The Blood Brothers, The Briefs, Rocket From the Crypt and so many more that I can't even handle it.

Check out the rest of the line up here or on their easy-to-use app.

A festival in it's first year is always full of surprises, good and bad, and Float Fest, held outside of San Marcos, Texas was no exception. The inaugural event was preceded by permit issues and resident concerns before the music even started as it was held in a rural stretch of the Texas Hill Country on the San Marcos river. Float Fest was headlined by indie pop gods Grouplove, Houston legend Bun B, and the ever dreamy Portugal. The Man, and included numerous local support acts.
The small crowd ate up their opening song that consisted entirely of screaming the word WHISKEY over and over. I even got to watch a girl vomit from her constant jumping. The band itself is nothing but...
