Flea (of Red Hot Chili Peppers fame) will be designing and launching a line of affordable bass guitars. NME reports that Flea settled on this new venture after he discovered that his music students were playing poor quality instruments.

A group consisting of Thom Yorke, Flea, and others will be playing a few shows in LA on October 4th and 5th.

Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be taking music classes this year at USC.
