We Are the In Crowd answered an interview question about the infamous "creative control" tweets.
From the InterviewTay: Yeah. We haven’t really talked about this at all. It kind of burned a little bit hearing, “Nope, it’s not going to happen.” For me it was just a spur of the moment, “This is bullshit” kind of thing. I’m over it. I’m definitely over it.

Invisible Children have posted a message from Jason Russell's wife after the events of last week.
From the BlogThank you to those who continue to support both us, and Invisible Children. The organization is an extension of our family, and we hope that Jason’s vision and work toward peace in the region remains the focus, and comes as soon as possible, as they continue to work in his absence. From the ArticleThe new Iraq is full of contradictions. On the one hand, it has allowed space for kids to listen to Western music, and dress in new styles, because families now have the internet, are exposed to a plethora of media outlets, and have access to satellites and new televisions, which were limited in the past, because of international sanctions. At the same time, various Islamist groups have taken power, and their followers in the government and security...

Last night we tried out our first ever "live-blog" while the Grammys were going on. A few beers, a few snarky AP.net staff members, and a pretty amusing time, I thought, for everyone involved. Definitely something we'll be trying again in the future for big live events. The community is what makes this place special, different, and unique. With that, there's just a few follow-up thoughts I wanted to write about: At the end of the night, I don't think there was a doubt in anyone's mind that Adele flat out won the night. One of the best performances, cleaned up the awards, and was virtually universally praised. And yet, what I think went (unfortunately unnoticed) was that this was...

You can read a follow-up article from Sigur Ros on the plagiarism of their songs in TV advertisements here. Absolutepunk, as well as user seanthethief, is mentioned.
