Fucked Up's frontman Damian Abraham is not a fan of Katy Perry's new video, in which she plays a Marine. He recently tweeted, "Seeing Katy Perry as a soldier in 'Part of Me' really makes me think that we need to start a war so she can go die." Watch a new video from Fucked Up for their song "I Hate Summer/Fucked Up Holiday" in the replies. The song comes from their 7" split with The Dirtbombs which will be released by Bruise Cruise Music Festival's record label. Frontman Damian Abraham will also be cruise director of this fest, leaving Miami to the Bahamas on 2/10-13.

Fucked Up frontman Damian Abraham says he's considered quitting the band to focus on his family.

"I would love to find a way to basically make it [the band] into a constantly evolving thing where sometimes Fucked Up can go on tour and other times, it’s another band [involving] us". On the upcoming hiatus, he added: “I have no idea how it’s all going to work out. I know we’re going to take this long break and hopefully we can think about it and figure it out a little more."

Update: According to this, he will not be leaving the band.

Fucked Up will release David Comes to Life on June 7.

Fucked Up will appear on a 7" of GG Allin covers alongside other artists like Ted Leo. They also have plans to release a live album called Coke Sucks.

Junior Battles have finished recording and one of their songs will feature vocals by Fucked Up's Damian Abraham.

Fucked Up have finished recording David Comes to Life. They also put it up for download, but turns out it's the new Cut Copy record instead.

The Wedge is back on MuchMusic and it will be hosted by Damian Abraham from Fucked Up. RapCity is returning too.
