Fucked Up's frontman Damian Abraham is not a fan of Katy Perry's new video, in which she plays a Marine. He recently tweeted, "Seeing Katy Perry as a soldier in 'Part of Me' really makes me think that we need to start a war so she can go die." A little while later he followed that up with, "Yes I'm aware my last tweet was kinda dumb but so is glamorizing war to sell records to idiots. Katy Perry Still Sucks."
Every Chinese New Year since 2006, Fucked Up have released a single inspired by the Chinese Zodiac sign. You can stream all of them, including the new one, "Year of the Tiger," right here.
Watch a new video from Fucked Up for their song "I Hate Summer/Fucked Up Holiday" in the replies. The song comes from their 7" split with The Dirtbombs which will be released by Bruise Cruise Music Festival's record label. Frontman Damian Abraham will also be cruise director of this fest, leaving Miami to the Bahamas on 2/10-13.
