“We wanted to make sure there weren’t any ceilings for our artists, while also keeping our culture independent,” said Janick. “There were other major labels filling artists’ heads with stuff like, ‘Oh you’re being held back by Fueled by Ramen, they don’t have the resources.’ For me it was about being an indie label with major ties, where we can build the foundation with a big company there to take you all the way.”

Mike Easterlin is the new general manager for Fueled By Ramen Records. He will be splitting his time between running the label and head of promotion for Roadrunner Records. Joe Calitri, former general manager of Fueled by Ramen, left the company yesterday.
Fueled By Ramen regrets to announce that, due to a recurring shoulder injury and impending surgery for Sublime With Rome bassist Eric Wilson, the second night of the FBR15 concert series, scheduled for September 8th at New York City's Terminal 5 has been cancelled. The bands originally scheduled for the September 8th show will move to the remaining two nights of FBR 15. Unfortunately Recover is no longer performing at the shows.
