Luke Winkie, writing for BuzzFeed, on how Fueled by Ramen has remained relevant for over 20 years.
“We wanted to make sure there weren’t any ceilings for our artists, while also keeping our culture independent,” said Janick. “There were other major labels filling artists’ heads with stuff like, ‘Oh you’re being held back by Fueled by Ramen, they don’t have the resources.’ For me it was about being an indie label with major ties, where we can build the foundation with a big company there to take you all the way.”

There is still new music on the way, although we wont be releasing anything until all business stuff is fully sorted. Thank you for always supporting us and being...

A Rocket To the Moon will release Wild & Free this fall via Fueled By Ramen. The band's statement is below.
From the ArticleThree years. It's been three years since our first full length record On Your Side was released. We've gone through some of the best and worst experiences over the last three years together as a band, and at home in our personal lives. Some of us have loved and some of us have lost. We've finally discovered who we are as individuals and as musicians. We've spent the last three years growing up and writing about it. We decided to call the new record Wild & Free. We wrote it about the past and the future. Not knowing what's next is the most exciting yet terrifying...

Recent Fueled By Ramen signees Twenty One Pilots talk about recording their new tunes.
From the InterviewIt’s weird cause now, a label gets a bad rep when things are going bad; when things are going good with a label, things are going really good. It’s the risk that’s involved when you get into a partnership with a company that believes in what you’re doing. Because they are putting money into, investing in it, and putting their name on it, they want to know what is going on in the creative process. We’ve been updating the guys in charge of the label, almost every other day, just sending them rough mixes of what we’ve been working on in the studio. This is Josh and I’s first time...

This Providence have opened up about the next stage of their career - sans Fueled by Ramen.
From the InterviewJust kind of coping with the anxiety that came along with trying to put out a record that the label would love and that we would love and that fans would love. It’s a lot of pressure when it’s record number four. That’s part of what took so long was that I had some emotional bullshit I had to get through before I could start writing the songs I really wanted to write.

Message from the BandTomorrow marks the 3 year anniversary of Who Are You Now? Also tomorrow, we’ll pile back into our big red van and head east on our first USA tour since the “Bout Damn Time Tour” almost two years ago. That was our first headlining tour. Ever. It took us two record deals, three albums and five years of steady touring just to get to that point. Hence the name of the tour.

I imagine you might be asking yourselves why everything takes so damn long when it comes to This Providence. Well I’ll be honest, I don’t have a good answer for that. I suppose I could have a cry and go on whining about how the last nine years have been an...
