 | | | | | | | | | | | | The weekend of triple fun is now over. After sets from Braid, The Promise Ring and Refused, among many many others, I'm still a bit overwhelmed by it all. Hit the replies to read user Dustin Harkins and I's final write-ups. You can head to our Facebook page to check out a full set of photos from the weekend from photographer Sara Strick. Also be sure to check out Purevolume's full gallery from the weekend as well. Fugazi? Jawbreaker? Unwound? Harkonen? Who knows what next year will bring, but I'll be patiently waiting for the Fall of 2013 regardless. Seriously, please Harkonen, please! | | | Adam Pfleider on 11/06/12 - 11:44 AM | 6 Replies - | | | | |

 | | | | | | | | | | | | What a hell of a first day at this year's Fun Fun Fun Fest. You can check out a couple of photos from the day over on our Facebook page. Head to the replies to see not only my review, but Dustin Harkins review of the festival as well, who will be down here with me all weekend. Refused, Braid, David Cross and much much more today. | | | | | | | | | | | | Good morning from Austin, TX. Today starts the first day of the seventh annual Fun Fun Fun Fest. Last night I saw great sets from Superchunk, Dwarves and The Impalers. Be sure to follow me through the weekend on our new Instagram feed: @absolutepunk. I'll be making plenty of snide remarks which may not reflect the views of this site through my Twitter here. If you're down here for the weekend, be sure to say "Hi!" and come pit with me during Converge tonight. I'm just kidding, I don't want to be killed the first day, but I'll see you there, I'll be the old guy in the back. | | | Adam Pfleider on 11/02/12 - 08:21 AM | 9 Replies - | | | | |
 | | | | | | | | | | | | Two years ago, Devo had to cancel their headlining performance at Fun Fun Fun Fest due to injury and only weeks before the festival. It was announced that Descendents would be reuniting for the first time in about a decade to fill the spot, and as someone who was there, it was a blast. Our friends at Light and Noise TV were there to capture the whole thing, including the encore where Rise Against's Tim Mcllrath joined the band for "Bikeage." In case you haven't been able to see one of the one-offs, head to the replies to watch the full set. The seventh annual Fun Fun Fun Fest happens next weekend, and tickets are still available here. | | | Adam Pfleider on 10/23/12 - 07:06 AM | 9 Replies - | | | | |
