| | | | | | | | | | | | Entertainment Weekly has an interview and a exclusive stream of a song written by Jack from fun., for Super Why.
I wanted [the songs] to feel huge and larger than life and epic. I don’t know if there really should be much of a difference between a children’s show and a Bruce Springsteen concert. I think everyone should leave with the same feeling, which is hopefulness.

| | | | | | | | | | | | Fun. put some songs up on Noisetrade.
Before "We Are Young," Some Nights and a Best New Artist Grammy, there was Aim & Ignite, an ambitious ten track album from three friends called fun. Produced by Steven McDonald (Redd Kross, OFF!), Aim & Ignite was heralded as the "the most essential pop album of 2009" by Absolutepunk.net. This four song collection features a studio track from Aim & Ignite, a live rendition of "Take Your Time (Coming Home), a b-side, and a remix of "Walking The Dog" from the RAC collective.

| | | | | | | | | | | | Check out a behind the scenes look at fun.'s music video for "Why Am I The One."
"I think there's a lot of metaphors in [the video] that you could draw with us and the past year we've had, but it's a video that I hope will make people feel very different the next time they go to the airport and give their bag away," guitarist Jack Antonoff said. "It's a very serious video that, on paper, might seem a little tongue in cheek, but at least the way it's written, it's meant to be pretty deep. "And I think that's OK, it's exciting and it's valuable for the fans of the music to know that, that it's not just this giant dream sequence," he continued. "There's a level of sacrifice that... | | | Joe DeAndrea on 02/21/13 - 04:40 PM | 11 Replies -

| | | | | | | | | | | | Our new interview with the two-time Grammy winning fun. can be found here.
There’s a lot of stuff we’ve done this year and we’ve gotten really good at just shutting off. There’s some things that are too big to even think about, and you get to the point in your head where all you can think about while you’re up there is when you used to do really small shows. Now it’s the Grammys, but it’s still the same thing. The environment is the same. It’s the same emotions. I play guitar the same way, Nate sings the same way, so it’s really important in those moments to treat it no different than like playing a club show. | | | Jonathan Bautts on 02/20/13 - 09:00 AM | 26 Replies -

Now, up until this point, I’ve wondered about the longevity of fun.’s insane fame. With Some Nights being – in my opinion – one of the best pop albums in the last 5+ years, the guys have a lot on their plates. However, coming off of 2 Grammys and an already-platinum record, I think it’s safe to say fun. are here to stay…for a long time. After seeing their live show, I am certain they’ll stay on top. | | | Ryan Gardner on 02/14/13 - 07:12 AM | 13 Replies -
| | | | | | | | | | | | Nate Ruess ( fun.) is working with a hip-hop artist, but it's not Kanye West.
Ruess added he's working on a hip-hop project. He can't say who, but he says it's not his hero Kanye West. "I'm just not at liberty to say, so I don't even know why I said it," he said. "But [Kanye] kind of got me off of my ass as far as acknowledging there's great music happening today. I think the older that I was getting, the more jaded I was becoming. I don't want to be a nostalgic listener. There's too much good stuff out there, and I just think it's up to me to work a little harder to find it." | | | Jason Tate on 02/06/13 - 01:56 PM | 102 Replies -

California pop punkers Heart to Heart have teamed up with the organization to create a public service announcement. Head to the replies to view the video.
