The Friendswemake has have posted their first single "California Please," on myspace. The band features Ryan Pope of The Get Up Kids on drums and Patrick Carrie of Limbeck on guitars.
At the Reggie and The Full Effect show in Chicago, IL, James Dewees just confirmed that The Get Up Kids are officially getting back together and are going to be touring in the spring. There have been a lot of rumors going around about it, but he flat out told the audience that they were gonna be back in Chicago in roughly 6 months.
Last night at the Reggie And The Full Effect show in San Luis Obispo, James Dewees hinted at a reunion of The Get Up Kids for the 10th Anniversary DVD of Something To Write Home About.
Unsigned act Emilia recently recorded their new EP with Ed Rose. Ryan Pope from the Get Up Kids and Nate Harold from Waking Ashland both played on the record.
