Legendary musician and poet, Gil Scott-Heron passed away yesterday at the age of 62.

Jamie (The xx) has remixed thirteen tracks from the original I'm New Here album sessions by Gil Scott-Heron, creating a new album titled We're New Here, which comes out on February 22nd. You can hear the tracks "I'll Take Care Of U" and "NY Is Killing Me," as well as read more about the project, here.
