post about the new album
From Glassjaw Messageboard"Just so the thread doesn't continue with more speculation, I will say now that I was misquoted. I said that only four songs, (ones that we have been playing live with this lineup), have vocals, but that's old news, anyway. I can't really discuss any more than that. I probably shouldn't have even discussed that." Submitted by VIVALAMATT Mike Kraft on 03/05/09 - 09:06 AM 63 Replies -

One of our users went to see
' inaugural performance and reported in about the lack of
and Michelle Obama.
Fans Report InLast night in Washington, DC, Eyeball Records supergroup United Nations played their first live performance ever. The band's screamer, Daryl Palumbo was not present at the performance, and singer Geoff Rickly made a crack at one of Daryl's many bands, Head Automatica: "Michelle Obama was going to stop by the show tonight, but she wanted to hear 'Beating Hearts Baby.'" An informative interview with Justin Beck from
has been posted at
Alter the Press
that details their new album, why they don't play certain songs, and much more.
From the InterviewAs far as he is concerned, he has done his part as he explains. October 1st 2007, Beck worked re-worked his busy schedule and put his life on hold so he could get a new record done. Manuel Carrero (bass) and Durijah Lang (drums) where on hand and completed their parts of the new record. Vocalist Daryl Palumbo had been in and recorded his vocals to the music on five songs. has no idea what's going on with the band's new album, according to a post from him on the
Manny SpeaksHey guys. I just saw this thread just now. I haven't been here as often as I used to be. I feel like a kid that's been asked to clean his room, but the room still isn't clean, and every time the kid peeks out of the room, he is immediately asked if it's finished. (And I've already cleaned my section of the room.)
I wish I had an answer for everyone, but I am pretty much in the dark. I mean, let's be frank, here. I just play the bass. I have no delusions about my role. I have no control of what happens with the band.
I would love to tell... Anton Djamoos on 10/17/08 - 12:02 PM 101 Replies -
MTV has written an
' new album may not be able to be sold in stores due to copyright issues. There is also great discussion on the ideals behind the band and the response from their myspace feature.
From the Article"To me, it was like, maybe speaking sincerely about things isn't enough to make people pay attention. Maybe you have to make fun of people and be a mirror to show them how stupid they look, to get their attention. That's the idea. Punk is just way too safe these days, so we're hoping by making some audacious claims and doing some strange things and breaking a few laws, we can get people to think at least. It's the idea that...
