Did you say, "I wouldn't call myself a critic, per se, but in my immediate peer group I'm known to be 'in the know.' As a matter of fact, I think you'd be hard pressed to find someone with a record collection that's half as good as mine. And seriously, that dude just can't sing. AUTO-TUNE central... I did intern in a studio, once, not really sure how it's possible for him to be both out of key and Auto-Tuned but whatever, worst singer ever."

United Nations' self-titled release will be available on September 9, 2008 through Eyeball Records. The band, much ballyhooed for its inclusion of members from influential groups Thursday and Glassjaw, is described as "[featuring] prominent members of two bands you love, one band you hate and a few you never heard of." Pre-order the album here.
Glassjaw will be playing a special set on Saturday at Saints & Sinners Festival at 2:25 PM. They were scheduled under the name "Newly Wed Disaster." The band will still be playing their scheduled headlining slot on Sunday as well, opening and closing the festival. You can grab the rest of the set times for this weekend at the S&S website.
Glassjaw have unveiled the details surrounding two, rare performances, which are scheduled to take place on October 28th and October 30th at The Avalon in Hollywood, California and The Glasshouse in Pomona, California respectively. Tickets for the shows will become available this Friday, September 14th via Ticketmaster.
Last night in Vegas, Manny Carrero said that as soon as Saves the Day has finished recording their new album, Glassjaw would begin writing new songs and that there will be a Glassjaw/Saves the Day tour shortly after.
The first batch of Glassjaw dates have been announced. The ticket links for the Nashville, Kansas City, and Minneapolis lead to dates for Deftones, so Glassjaw could very well be openers for these shows.
According to this article, the new Head Automatica single will be "Lying Through Your Teeth" and the video will be filmed sometime next month. Also, Daryl has a lot of music and lyrics ready for the next Glassjaw record; the band just needs a lot of time, money for recording, and to figure out who will release the new record.
Head Automatica have been forging ahead with work on new material as of late, tentative track titles are thought to include:
"Million Dollar Decision"
"Laughing At You"
"Shot In The Back"
"Hello I Love You"
The band are expected to release a new EP in the coming months.
