According to a recent interview, Halifax plans to release new music in the near future, as well as play a couple of secret shows in the Southern California area, which will feature, for two shows, the return of original lead singer Mike Hunau.

Floral Terrace will be playing a string of Florida shows and some Midwest dates through the end of July. Dates are in the replies. They will be playing with bands such as Amber Pacific, Halifax, Across Five Aprils, and Shai Hulud.

Message from the BandI can't make you wait any longer! This is what my voice sounds like.

I just put a new Halifax demo, titled "Perfect Life", into our music player. Keep in mind this is just a demo that we recorded in my house. We will be going into the studio with producer Dwight Baker to professionally record the album with in the next 2 months. Make sure to show us some love and tell us what you think.

Halifax have sent in a message regarding former lead singer Mike's decision to leave the band and their summer recording plans with Chris taking over vocals.
From the BandAs you may or may not have heard, Mike has decided to leave the band. We part with him with a lot of mutual love, respect and understanding. We look forward to embracing the next chapter of Halifax with both a huge amount of appreciation for the last 5 years with Mike and the excitement of rising to the challenges that lay ahead to make Halifax shine brighter than ever. The band will be entering the studio this summer to record their new album with Chris taking over the lead vocal duties.

Halifax is currently a part of the Dew Circuit Breakout contest. Voting ends in about 10 days, so help the band make it to the finals by voting non-stop and posting the web banner to advertise. The band will show their gratitude and reward their fans for the continued support by offering a limited amount of tickets for their upcoming 2007 Halifax Appreciation Headlining tour for only $5. This two month tour is set to kick off in March and will hit up most of the US and Canada. More details, including the line-up and dates, will be announced in the near future. Congratulations to Halifax! The Inevitability of a Strange World debuted at #1 on this week's Billboard Heatseekers Chart! The band's new music video for "Our Revolution" is premiering on Monday on Fuse's Daily Download (5pm EST) and Oven Fresh (1:30pm EST). The song will be available to download from fuse.tv on Monday only as part of Daily Download. Halifax would like to announce today that they will be touring with Sugarcult, The Spill Canvas, Maxeen, and So They Say from September 8th through Octtober 11th. Stay tuned for more tour info!
