One of the hardest working bands in pop-punk today, Handguns, is set to release their debut full-length Angst in late September. Today we're streaming "Song About You" and my personal opinion confidently says this is the best song the band has ever written. Handguns has taken leaps forward in their song-writing abilities, breaking out of their comfort zone to do things I've never heard them do before. Stay Strong Kid has decided to help out Handguns with their van troubles. The group desperately needs a new van, so any of the profits seen from the Stay Strong Kid online store beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, September 14, and continuing until Thursday September 15 at midnight, will be donated to the band.
Handguns and Forever Came Calling will release a split 7" in September on Pure Noise Records. It will include three new songs from each band and will mark vocalist Taylor Eby's final appearance in Handguns.
