Tampa, FL hardcore band, Anam Cara, hit a patch of ice in Nevada and lost control of their van while en route to a show in California. As a result, the van flipped and was totalled along with their trailer. With the exception of the singer, who had two broken ribs and quite a few stitches on his head, everyone only suffered minor injuries. However, most of their gear and merch was destroyed. A few close friends in Kiss The Girls and Sleeping Alone have created a PayPal account (firstname.lastname@example.org) for dontations. If you're financially capable of donating, even if it's just a little something, then please help the guys out in their endeavor to get a new van, trailer and back on...

The Breast Cancer website is having trouble getting enough people to click on their site daily to meet their quota for donating at least one free mammogram each day to an underprivileged woman. It only takes a few seconds to go to their site and click on "donating a mammogram" (the rectangular pink button in the middle). There's no financial obligation; it doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammograms in exchange for advertising. Here's the web site! Please pass it along to people you know:

Hey kids! So, there has been a list compiled of every venue you listed. By the way, thanks soooo much for the help; you guys really pulled through. Below is a list of areas that were either not touched well or not touched at all. If you can help out, or have any other suggestions/comments about this project, please let me know.
Oh, and Canada, thanks for pulling through with your lists!
Hey guys! I'm starting to put together a rather extensive list of venues in major cities across the US and Canada right now that will be covered in a future section for venues. Members and bands will be able to talk about shows at specific venues and both bands and members can rate their experiences at that certain venue.
What would really help out my building of this section would be if you respond with the names of the major venues in your city. Please list the venue, city and state.
In the future, there will be more news to come about this section. Get stoked!
