Lily Allen's brilliantly produced and wickedly sharp-tongued debut album, Alright, Still..., is finally out in the US today. Check out some tracks on her MySpace and pick the album up. The US version has "Nan, You're A Window Shopper" as a bonus track... and it's one of the best songs on there.

You can read a brief rebuttal from Reel Big Fish regarding the release of their new greatest hits collection, Greatest Hit and More, below. The album, which hit shelves much to the displeasure of the band members themselves, was released today, Tuesday, November 21st, via the group's ex-label, Jive Records.
Reel Big Fish RebuttalHey friends! So, Jive records (our former label) is putting out a RBF greatest hits CD because they see how well our live album is doing and they pretty much just want to screw us any way they can! they see that there's still money to be made from the Reel Big Fish so they are trying to get a last little piece! There's really nothing we can do to stop them since...

As winners of the MLB and Playstation contest on WarpedTour.com, Over It was selected to write and record a song for the soundtrack to MLB '07 - they've posted a clip of the new song, titled "Caught In A Rundown," on Purevolume. Getting hit by a pitch sucks, but this song doesn't.

From HitsDailyDouble: [The Format]'s buzz out in the Southwest led to quite the label derby a few years ago, eventually resulting in a deal with Elektra. The band transitioned to Atlantic after Elektra folded, but was dropped last year. Now a free agent, The Format recently released a new album titled Dog Problems on their own and have sold over 18k to date, moving north of 5k just last week. But more importantly, they’re the first band to sell an album on their MySpace page in a new initiative utilizing Snocap’s Linx online sales application. Song files can be purchased using Paypal at 79 cents a pop and are offered in the MP3 format, meaning they can be played on any media player....

MTV Hits (the all music cable channel) is running a promotion where viewers submit their own playlists and then vote on whose playlists they want to see on the air, which will make up the channel's programming throughout July. If you're interested in submitting a playlist, head to MTVHits.Mtv.com and regiester (it's totally free, and you can also vote on other peoples' playlists).

I just wanted to clear a few things up. From First To Last's first single from Heroine will be "The Latest Plague" and not "The Levy" like previously mentioned. Also, the song will launch everywhere on January 31st. So get excited!
