| | | | | | | | | | | | The Wonder Years' new album, The Greatest Generation, has debuted at No. 20 on the Billboard 200 charts with 19,673 units moved in first-week sales. For some perspective: The first time I interviewed the band, they were excitedly reporting first-week sales of The Upsides that came in at 1,852 units. Suburbia I've Given You All and Now I'm Nothing debuted two years ago with 8,100 first-week sales. Congratulations to the band, their management and Hopeless Records! | | | Thomas Nassiff on 05/22/13 - 10:14 AM | 78 Replies - | | | | |

The tickets are free - you just have to print them out and bring them with you to the event. However, they are limited, and the final night (featuring an acoustic Wonder Years performance, meet-and-greet and signings) is almost "sold out." Head to the replies to see what's going down each night. | | | Thomas Nassiff on 04/19/13 - 12:45 PM | 17 Replies -

| | | | | | | | | | | | Among the preorder options for The Wonder Years' upcoming record, The Greatest Generation, are several packages that offer a few different 7"s. There are five different clear variants, and on the B-side of the vinyl is an emblem that represents one of the five recurring themes on the record - bombs, pill bottles, ghosts, devils and birds. One package includes all five 7"s while the other packages include a random 7" and you can see the pressing information for the different variants in the replies. | | | Thomas Nassiff on 04/01/13 - 05:44 PM | 25 Replies - | | | | |

I wanna be remembered for more than this. I think we all do. See, people say the greatest generation has come and gone, but they're wrong. They haven't seen what we're capable of. | | | Thomas Nassiff on 03/19/13 - 01:31 PM | 237 Replies -

| | | | | | | | | | | | So I received a package from Hopeless Records this morning and in it was a bunch of swag from the bands on their roster. One of the items included was a LP of Yellowcard's new album Southern Air, which I've decided to give away today. How do you win this beautiful 12 inches of wax? It's simple: just like and follow us on our Facebook and Twitter pages (as well as Hopeless' Facebook and Twitter) and tell us what your favorite song is off Southern Air and why (either in this thread, on Twitter, or on Facebook). I'll pick a winner sometime tomorrow. Good luck! | | | Drew Beringer on 08/22/12 - 12:20 PM | 83 Replies - | | | | |

| | | | | | | | | | | | Starting at 5pm (PST) tonight, the staff from Hopeless Records will be hanging out and chatting in this thread. Come on in and see what it's like to work at one of the hottest labels today. Talk about their recent bands, how they find bands to sign, or just what a day in the life looks like for a Hopeless Record employee. I'm sure there's something ya wanna know.
All the label folk will be chatting with blue names. Have fun!
The chat is now over! Huge thank you to the label for doing this with us! | | | Jason Tate on 04/12/12 - 04:53 PM | 232 Replies -
| | | | | | | | | | | | At 5pm (PST) tonight we'll have the fine folks from Hopeless Records here to chat on the website. It's definitely going to be a good time, and I wanted to make sure I got my " Thursday Discussion" topic up before it gets too close to the chat. With that in mind, I thought it made sense to pick my top 10 favorite Hopeless Records' releases. While I'm not expecting this one to be quite as giant as the Drive-Thru list, there are some ridiculously awesome albums in the Hopeless catalog.
If you haven't checked these ones out yet - I definitely recommend you do. I included links to streams where appropriate. Feel free to add in your own favorites as well. Oh, and don't forget to come... | | | Jason Tate on 04/12/12 - 12:25 PM | 77 Replies -
