The Messenger's guitarist Taylor Brooks has been hospitalized with what is believed to be viral meningitis. A statement from lead singer Kim Macedo can be seen below.

According to a few of our visitors who had tickets to the Head Automatica show at State College, PA last night, the band was unable to play because Daryl Palumbo (vocalist) was in the hospital. On a more uplifting note, the band posted a new song titled "Lying Through Your Teeth" on their Myspace.com page. Best wishes go out to Daryl!
