The Fest 10 will kick off tomorrow in Gainesville, Fla. Today we're bringing you two interviews to get you prepared for the weekend, one with Fest organizer Tony Weinbender and one with Hot Water Music frontman Chuck Ragan. The interviews were used for this article, detailing the anticipation for Hot Water Music's homecoming performance.

Hot Water Music just announced their signing to Rise Records on Thursday. Given the amount of surprise on this website and seemingly everywhere else, we decided to reach out to the band to get an interview about why they chose Rise and what we can expect from the band in the coming year. We realize a lot of you were surprised by Hot Water Music's decision to sign to Rise Records. I'll be doing a short interview with the band tomorrow, so leave any questions you have in the replies and I will take good ones into consideration to ask.

The Shirts for a Cure Project is proud to announce this year’s SXSW day party will feature Hot Water Music, Paint It Black, Dead To Me, The Gaslight Anthem and Drive By. This will be Hot Water Music’s ONLY appearance during SXSW. This FREE event will be held at Red 7 (611 East 7th Street) on Friday March 14th, doors open at noon sharp.
