Hot Water Music will be heading out on its first headline tour in 8 years in early 2013, and the band is taking The Menzingers and La Dispute along for the ride. You can find pre-order details here and tour dates in the replies.
Although they weren't noted in the chart we posted earlier, SoundScan is reporting in its official counts that Hot Water Music sold just over 10,000 copies in first-week sales of Exister, their first record in eight years - good for an opening at the No. 33 position on the charts. Congratulations to the band and to Rise Records.
Riley (Thrice) and Ian from Kowloon Walled City have a (mostly) baseball-related podcast that they've been doing for a couple of months. This week the guest was Jason Black of Hot Water Music, they chatted a bit about their reunion, their new record Exister, and his Braves fandom. Check it out here.
