Jarrett here just keeping everyone updated. We are here in North Hollywood recording with our new found friend Mr. Mark Weinberg and Crazy Karl Winslow (as we like to call him).. We completed preproduction on Tuesday and started tracking the drums Wednesday. I think it's safe to say we are all very excited to hear how the record turns out. In other good news we will be co-headlining with A Change of Pace this entire summer starting in late June. We Shot The Moon will be on the first leg of that tour and we have You, Me and Everyone We know on the 2nd leg. In final news...

Message from the Band

We are VERY pleased to tell you all that we are currently in the middle of preproduction for our brand new record! We are over here in Los Angeles with Mr. Mark Weinberg at the helm who just did Ace Enders’ new record a few months back. We are really excited about how everything is turning out and can’t wait to get it to you this summer! Finally right? We also wanted to leave you with a few photos compliments of Okie himself!

Houston Calls has confirmed a week long headling tour starting March 23rd (right after the sherwood tour) with Socratic, National Product and NJ friends Red Light Green Light. So for everyone who complained about us not playing california on the sherwood tour, your complaints were heard! See ya in late march!

Due to some personal reasons The Junior Varsity had to drop off the upcoming Zach Morris Presents: The Friends Forever Tour. The Junior Varsity will still be our friends forever :). In place we have added The Pilot (rob from hidden in plain view). The Pilot will be on all the shows and will be playing a full band live set (not acoustic). The tour kicks off August 22nd in PA.

Update

Hey, we're right here, still breached up in good ol' North New Jersey. Some of you are probably curious what we've been up to. Well, we've been hard at work finishing our sophomore record. We absolutely cannot wait for you all to hear the new songs -- we're all super excited about them. I can't really say too many details regarding the next record, but I can tell you all that we will be enterting the studio most likely in July, possibly August with a TBA producer to do our new CD. We have around 20 brand new songs to sift through. We should also be hitting the road in the U.S. (finally) in September --...

Houston Calls will be filling in for The Almost on the Paramore tour for three of the dates. More information can be seen in the replies.

Jarrett and Tom of Houston Calls will be appearing on the show "Chain Reaction" on Tuesday night. You can tune into the Game Show Network at 10 PM (EST) to watch.

So I'm sure most of you know by now that Kenny left Houston Calls back in November. I'm also sure that any of you that have been to a show since then have met a strapping, young man by the name of Jose', most known for his shredding skills and bad ass hair. This young man, Jose', is now an official member of Houston Calls after giving up a lot of things to be a "fill-in" for us.
