Houston Calls' new twitter background is a magazine ad that declares "new music coming your way" (could it be?) - and they're giving away their albums forfree.
Members of Paulson and Houston Calls are playing together in a new project called Future of the Party. The band will make their live debut this Friday, April 1st at School of Rock where they will open the Folly reunion show. Check out an unmastered demo here.
Last night at Valencia's show in Boston, Shane announced that the reason the band cancelled a couple of dates on their current tour was so that he could be with his mother, who just had surgery for breast cancer. He then dedicated "Listen Up" to her during the band's encore. Our thoughts and best wishes go out to Shane, his mom, and his family.
EDIT: It was brought to my attention that Fight Fair and Meese have been added to the tour. Also, The Summer Set have dropped off Fight Fair, Meese, and You, Me and Everyone We Know have replaced them. The tour poster can be seen here.

Okie from Houston Calls has written a blog encouraging fans to purchase the new album as opposed to downloading it. Their new album, The End of an Error, hits stores and online retailers tomorrow.

Houston Calls' show in St. Louis tonight has been moved to the Creepy Crawl. The show starts at 6 PM, and the band will go on around 9, according to their myspace.
