 | | | | | | | | | | | | You can check out PropertyOfZack's recent interview with Vinnie Caruana ( I Am The Avalanche) here. In the interview, Caruana revealed that a new IATA should be released in the fall. He also hints at possible Peace'd Out and more solo material releasing this calendar year. I’m going to be focused on touring on this. But I am going to record an Avalanche record, and we anticipate seeing a fall release for the record. As far as Peaced Out goes, I know that Choi has been working on some new music already. Him and Roger will be going to the mountains to write and record the new Peaced Out. Going to keep moving. I’m not going to give it a break. | | | Drew Beringer on 01/30/13 - 12:06 PM | 7 Replies - | | | | |
 | | | | | | | | | | | | As frontman of The Movielife and I Am the Avalanche, Vinnie Caruana has been involved in the music scene for more than 15 years now. After all that time, he will release his debut solo EP, City by the Sea, on February 5th via I Surrender/Run For Cover Records. You can stream a new track from the effort, "Boy, You're In Heaven," on his AP.net profile. It's an acoustic number that incorporates hand claps, violin and keyboard. Pre-order the EP on CD or vinyl. | | | Alex DiVincenzo on 01/14/13 - 05:50 AM | 20 Replies - | | | | |
 | | | | | | | | | | | | After years of fronting popular indie punk act I Am The Avalanche and formerly hardcore punk band The Movielife, accomplished New York songwriter Vinnie Caruana is announcing plans to release his debut solo EP out early 2013 on I Surrender / Run For Cover Records. Between writing the new album for his full-time project I Am The Avalanche, Caruana has recently entered the studio with RX Bandits member Steve Choi at Bright Mountain studios in California where he'll remain until October 27th. | | | Jason Tate on 10/23/12 - 12:47 PM | 38 Replies - | | | | |
 | | | | | | | | | | | | With all of the commotion going on around the website the past few hours, I wasn't sure I'd have time to sit down and finish writing my Wednesday Spotlight feature today. However, if there's one thing good music will do, it's focus my mind on the task at hand. Today I want to make sure everyone knows about I Am The Avalanche. They've got a brand of rock that rolls in with a chip on its shoulder. A swagger that says there's no need to hide behind studio trickery or over glossy production. I like that. It's exactly what I'm interested in at the moment.
After the split of The Movielife we saw the release of the band's self-titled album. That was in 2005. It wasn't until last year... | | | Jason Tate on 01/18/12 - 05:30 PM | 71 Replies - | | | | |
