Explosions in the Sky have posted an update on their website. They're working on a new album.
Sorry that we've been running silent for awhile. The last few years have been pretty hectic for us (touring, working on soundtracks, etc.), so we've spent the last few months in hibernation. 2015 will also be on the quiet side, at least as far as touring and shows are concerned. This is because we'll be spending most of our time writing and recording stuff for a new album. We're well into the process, but we still have a ways to go. We're pretty excited about what we're coming up with and we'll keep you posted as we go. Anyway, we just wanted to say welcome to 2015 and we hope it goes okay...

According to Wikipedia and confirmed by AP.net forum members, Brand New wants you to see Explosions in the Sky.
Brand NewThe band performed at Lollapalooza in Chicago on August 2, 2008, where Lacey openly showed disgust for his audience's decision to not instead attend a set by Explosions in the Sky, who were playing on another stage. At one point, Lacey said to the audience, "you're all fools." Jesse Lacey violently threw a guitar in the direction of drummer Brian Lane at the end of the set, breaking it, and left the stage.

Explosions In The Sky had to cancel their shows in Glasgow and Manchester, UK.
Message From The BandWe're sad to say that, on account of some insanely severe storms that have been hammering the eastern seaboard of the US, we have had to cancel our Glasgow and Manchester shows. Air traffic here in the States has been backed up quite a bit and our flights yesterday were called off. However, we have new flights planned and we will be making it in time for the London show.

Both of these cancelled shows will be rescheduled and we will post any information about the new dates as soon as we have them confirmed.

We have only missed two shows in the entire eight years we've been a band so this...
