No Doubt vs Activision Trial Goes Forward

The trial between No Doubt and Activision over "Band Hero" is expected to go in front of a jury on October 15th. There's also a small interview between Gamespot and No Doubt's lawyer, here.

No Doubt's Legal Fight Against "Band Hero" Continues

No Doubt's case against Band Hero's publisher, Activision, is going to get a trial in front of a jury.

From the ArticleThe band originally filed the suit in November of 2009 claiming that Activision misled the music group over how their likenesses would be used in the game. They claim Activision never told them that they would be used as unlockable avatars for completing certain aspects of the title that could be used to perform other songs not normally performed by No Doubt. They described the feature as a "a virtual karaoke circus act" in their lawsuit.

Patrick Stump's "This City" and fun. "We Are Young" in Simlish. Always Cool.

The new version of The Sims 3, called Showtime, will feature a variety of songs sung in "Simlish." The Acceptance version from an old version of the game, remains my favorite. This time, Fun. and Patrick Stump are both going to be included. You can listen to Patrick’s single "This City" and fun.'s "We Are Young" -- in "Simlish" -- in the replies.
