PM Today have called out Every Time I Die on their Facebook page. They would like to encourage their fans to take as many selfies on stage as you would like at their shows.
Mistreating your fans and abusing whatever power you think you have because people like your band is not "cool". We challenge everyone at our next show to get onstage and take as many selfies as your phone can handle.
Jason Tate on 12/10/14 - 03:19 PM
Ninjas will prevent you from taking selfies on stage with Every Time I Die -- video proof in the replies.

While I spend as little time as possible in Dallas (I lived there 18 years, it was enough), I venture back to see my family for the holidays and this Thanksgiving break I was lucky enough to not only see my myriad of family members, but to also catch a show at fabled venue, The Door. My first club show ever was at The Door in 2003 so even though the locations have changed, the nostalgia still hits hard.

Every Time I Die and The Ghost Inside are on out a killer tour with support from the UK's Architects, Hundredth, and Backtrack. The Door is a great venue for a lot of reasons, but for a show like this, the best reason is NO BARRIER. I forgot about this detail when I was packing up my...

Keith Buckley, of Every Time I Die, will be releasing his first semi-autobiographical novel next year called Scale.
SCALE chronicles Ray Goldman’s journey downward through the adversarial trials that sometimes prove necessary in facilitating an eventual ascent into truth and happiness. The odd chapters of the novel find Ray, now a 31-year-old guitar player, seeking fulfillment in the wake of a life-altering tragedy while the even chapters see him reflecting on the depravity and selfishness that hastened his descent towards it. SCALE is about the relationship between instability and balance, death and resurrection, perception and reality, but ultimately it is about the endless war waged...

I personally attended all the Warped Tour dates in California and the NW this summer. While in California, one of my new favorite clothing companies Violent Gentlemen had a tent set up, selling t-shirts right alongside Every Time I Die and JBWW. They have exclusive t-shirts for Andy Williams (ETID), Bayside, and more. I spoke with one of the co-founders, Mike Hammer about the brand and what they're up to in the future, which you can read here. Lastly, they're currently offering 15% off to readers, using the promo code "Absolutepunk" at checkout.

Every Time I Die are currently recording new material with producer Kurt Ballou of Converge.
Kurt Ballou had always intimidated the living shit out of me, so I was overjoyed when the decision was made to record our next record with him at GodCity and I mean that sincerely. I've been a fan of his work for over a decade. His records are terrifying and moving and they sound like they were written and recorded under great duress, which is exactly how this style of music should be made. This month we join the pantheon. I couldn't be more excited to see what he helps us learn about our own band that we didn't realize for the past 15 years.

We presented them one song off of our latest album and asked them what they would do with a certain section if I (Jason Aalon) never sang in said section. Back in February, I had the chance to sit down and talk to Keith Buckley of Every Time I Die about the impending 10th anniversary of the band's beloved second album, Hot Damn!, as well as other ETID-related topics. I was planning on posting that interview around this time to coincide with the actual anniversary date. But since we started this podcast, I thought I'd just give you guys the real deal and upload the audio from that conversation and turn this into the sixth episode of the AbsolutePunk.net Podcast. It's similar in nature to the podcast Jason posted a few weeks ago with Ryan Key.

Anyways, this episode is a blast, as you can imagine. As always, you can subscribe to this...

Ten years ago today I (along with many of you I'm sure) discovered an album that would eventually become one of my all-time favorite records. That remarkable record is none other than Every Time I Die's second full-length, Hot Damn!. It's still putting the "act" in action. We'll be releasing a special podcast with Keith on Wednesday. In the meantime, rock out to some "Ebolarama" today.

A pop-up tent featuring all his comfy-ass clothes is at every date of this summer's Warped Tour.
