From Autumn To Ashes have announced a show at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn, NY on December 18th. The announcement comes following the resolution of frontman Francis Mark's prior legal things. The band replied to a fan on Facebook stating that Fran has "no restrictions" and that they play to tour again this winter.
I wanted clarify a few things in the press and express my gratitude to the fans who continue to stick by us in these trying times. I turned myself in and was not arrested. The alleged drug house in question was merely a medicinal marijuana facility. I speak not only for myself but on behalf of From Autumn To Ashes that we will make up the dates as soon as we possibly can. Thank you for the years of support and see you soon.
On June 29, Mark, age 32, was allegedly sentenced in Michigan for an offense of "maintaining a drug house." While he was not sent to prison, Mark appears to have received a year of probation. As such, travel restrictions likely apply, leaving Mark unable to continue touring for the foreseeable future.
Recently-reunited post-hardcore favorites From Autumn to Ashes sadly had to drop off their upcoming tour, but we have a special Live Session from the band to make up for it. The hour-and-a-half set was captured at the Brighton Music Hall in Allston, MA on June 18th. Despite it being the first date of their run, the group showed no sign of rust as they played songs from their entire discography. A highlight includes the 10-minute opus "Short Stories with Tragic Endings" performed in its entirety.
Unfortunately, due to a personal emergency beyond our control, we will not be able to play our upcoming west coast shows with our friends in Hawthorne Heights, Sleepwave, and Extinction AD, nor will be be doing the NYC date with Emery and Fashion Week. We apologize to everyone who was planning on coming out to see these shows. We'll be making up shows as soon as we can. Thank you all so much for your continued support, we are incredibly grateful to every one of you for sticking by us throughout the years. We'll keep you updated on when the make-up shows will be. As always, thanks for everything...we'll see you soon!
