House of Heroes played in Columbus last night, premiering about 5 new tracks that, according to the submitter: all sound amazing. You can see a clip of one of them here. Our news tipsters says, "The new songs are all pretty heavy, but have great poppy hooks to them. It looks like this might be they're best album yet. Also, Tim said that they will be releasing a new single and a b-side pretty soon, but the album won't be out for awhile."
House of Heroes have been in the studio working on their new album. Everyone I've talked to has said it is sounding like their best work yet. I asked the guys how they'd describe it, and they said, "Heaviest, poppiest, lightest, and rockingest songs we've ever done and somehow they fit together. Big emphasis on songwriting." So, I think they run the gamut on that one. Add that to my most anticipated of the year.
Today we're proud to bring you an exclusive stream of a brand new House of Fools song. The track, "Another Place," comes from the band's new album versus the beast. The new album sets into motion a fresh start for this North Carolina sextet. An early career - although bolstered by years of national touring - was plagued with label woes, but a legal victory ultimately released the band from all label ties. You can check out the new song in the replies, or on their AP.net profile. The new album comes out January 3rd.
House of Heroes have released a new video for their single "So Far Away", it's in the replies. There is also a new track available for download called, 'The Voices of Suburba', on their Facebook page. The track is a compilation of the group vocals that were recorded for Suburba.
It's House of Heroes Day here at AP.net, as we're streaming the band's new album, Suburba, in entirety on their AP.net Profile AND debuting their new music video for "God Save The Foolish Kings" on our Youtube channel. We strongly recommend you dive into both premieres. Suburba is arguably the best pop-rock album of the summer, and the music video certainly does not disappoint.
