After being together for over a decade, MxPx's side project band, Arthur, have officially called it a day.
“Arthur was never a full time touring band, but we were a band none the less, which is why we're formally BREAKING UP,” said band frontman Arthur. “It just doesn’t make sense to keep doing nothing, so we’ve collectively decided to pursue separate creative endeavors.”
“We want to thank all of you that listened to our music and supported Arthur throughout the last decade,” said Arthur, Edmund, Alexander and Zane. “We created music for you, and the best part is that our music will never die!”

MxPx's new album is titled Plans Within Plans.
From frontman Mike HerreraI struggled with this album title for a long time. I had been recording this album between tours and booking tours, studio sessions, and trying to live somewhat of a normal life. Life got in the way of that. Plans Within Plans was the only way i could describe all the mayhem that was going on behind the scenes of putting this collection of brand new songs together. I was and still am literally flying off the rails trying to juggle all the jobs that need doing to keep this ship afloat. I'm the captain going down with the ship.. but just maybe we'll make to land before we all drown.

Directed by Bryan Buchelt of Snaproll Studios, the DVD is available digitally today. The physical version, which includes over 20 minutes of deleted scenes, will available December 8th. You can pre-order at the band's website, and watch the trailer in the replies.
